5 ways to look after your mental health during lockdown
Mental health is something that should definitely be taken seriously. We all should look after our mental health but some of us will suffer from poor mental health. You will find that mental health is an umbrella term for many different conditions however mental health is something we all have, it is whether we are suffering from poor mental health or mental health issues that should be recognised.
All too often, the topic of mental health gets pushed away and people don’t want to discuss it. However, in a day and age when the topic couldn’t be any more prevalent or important, especially given the events of recent months, it is so important that we do actually discuss this and recognise different things about it.
It is absolutely vital to be aware of the different facets of mental health conditions – not only so we can recognise the signs in ourselves but in others too. Talk About Your Feelings
It is so important to talk about your feelings and not bottle them up until you feel like you are about to explode. A trusted friend or family member can be a great first step to talking about what the problems are and how you want to change the situation. Sometimes you may not even know yet what the problem is or how to change it but just need someone to listen to you talk. Make sure you do this if you need to.

Ask For Help
